Can I lay mats and cables directly onto the existing floor ?
It is advisable to insulate the floor first using specialist floor insulation, the system can then be laid directly onto this. Floor insulation will speed up heating times and reduce running costs. Mats and cables can be layed directly onto the concrete or wooden floor, but some heat will be lost into the sub floor.
